So as you can see Dustin has put a ton of blood, sweat, and tears into this car and we haven’t even scratched the surface. Starting back when the car was purchased in 2005-06 it was daily driven until sometime in late 2010 early 2011.
After it was taken out of the daily grind is when most of the transformation started. This would include going from lowering springs to coilover suspension wider wheels and different offsets to incorporate for the carbon fiber fender flares. Once that took shape it was time to start making the EP3 look more aggressive. The full Buddy Club kit with front splitter came first followed by the canards and winglets and later on the rear diffuser.
Keep in mind this didn’t happen over night, in fact its still a work in progress. Moving on to the engine bolt ons include the custom air box that was discussed in the above picture, K-pro computer management, K-tuned fuel rail with pressure gauge, custom painted valve cover with the pretty camo wrapped coil cover to bring out the country in Dustin, BWR full racing header with Buddy Club catback bolted to that, higher CC injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump, KOYO aluminum radiator, coolant and oil catch cans in camo.
Internals include Eagle H-beam rods with Brain Crower pistons, knife edged and balanced crank, aluminum block guard, port and polished intake manifold and head, with cylinder head internals in the near future. Interior wise starting with the roll cage which was all customize fitted and welded by Dustin except for the main hoop which was bent by BD Racing in Chicago.
Corbeau seats with RCI 5-way harnesses and custom made aluminium seat brackets. The center dash is wrapped in carbon vinyl and switch panel for all accessories and ignition. NRG quick release and MOMO steering wheel. For those long hauls the car still has cruise control which is relocated to a compartment below the steering wheel. With the question lingering, yes folks that is where the shifter belongs haha.
There is a few thing here and there in the car that have our great LINE-X product like the battery cover in the rear kick panels and door seals. Wheels are Rota grids 16x8 0 offset in the back and a 15mm spacer added to the front with the 0 offset. Kumho XS 225/45/16 track tires. Slotted and cross drilled rotors BC racing fully adjustable coilovers with thicker cut and welded CRV front and rear sway bars and SBC rear control arms.
